Birthdays are just great!
I love planning and organizing birthday parties for my family and friends. For me, the right invitation to the party is always part of it. A birthday invitation is an important part of the celebrations and with a great, paperless birthday invitation card you can invite your guests to the great party right away.
Our favorite family tradition
How nice it rustles when I open my handicraft hodgepodge before a birthday and look for the most important accessories: the wallpaper rolls! Why do I need them, you ask yourself? Very simple: I make an oversized number for each birthday child, which I stick on a large window pane the night before the day of honor. Each digit about two meters tall! Every year, young and old proudly stand in front of "the" number of the new year of life, which always accompanies us through our everyday life for a few days. This tradition is sacred to me and my family!
The perfect birthday invitation
As soon as a birthday is coming up, we think:
If we want to and can we celebrate, on which day do we do that?
How many guests should come and who does the birthday child want to invite?
Should the festival have a motto and if so, which one?
Do we need - for children's birthday parties - a small program?
What do we want to eat and drink?
While we're discussing all this, I'm already designing the invitation card for my birthday - I've been doing this last part for my entire family for decades: from zero to a hundred, so to speak!
The advantage for you: my wealth of experience
You see, I'm pretty proficient at designing invitation cards for any kind of birthday party once I know what's planned. I don't just do this in private, but for all my dear customers for many years; formerly as a printed paper card and since 2020 in paperless form out of absolutely lasting conviction: My eCards!
How does that work? When you order your card, you can simply enter all the information about your party in the specified fields and immediately see the preview of your very personal eCard. And then you get - in no time - immediately after the purchase the link to your birthday party perfectly adapted invitation card.
For a successful birthday invitation card, I also have eight short text suggestions that you can use as inspiration:
We are celebrating [name]'s birthday, and you are cordially invited!
Let's celebrate [Name]'s birthday together and spend an unforgettable day.
You are invited to celebrate [name]'s birthday with us. We look forward to seeing you!
[Name]'s birthday is coming up and we want to celebrate this special day with you.
Celebrate [Name]'s birthday with us and let's have an unforgettable time together.
It's time to celebrate! We cordially invite you to your birthday. We would be happy if you celebrate your birthday with us and make this day something special.
No birthday without a cake!
Honestly, I'd rather eat cake than bake it. Which in turn is the beloved family tradition of my colleague "Die Frau Gesche". That's why we're telling you the sure birthday cake recipe of her family as the grand finale:
- 200 g chocolate (min. 70% cocoa) along with
- Melt 200 g butter in a water bath.
Little by little
- 200 g sugar (preferably raw cane sugar)
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 200 g ground almonds
- 1/2 packet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt and
- Stir 4 eggs into the mixture.
Line a springform pan with baking paper or grease it well and bake in an oven preheated to 160°C (140°C fan oven) for about 40 minutes.
As soon as the cake has cooled down, you can dust it with icing sugar or decorate it with chocolate icing and fruit or birthday candles, if you like.
Happy Birthday!
